A road Monster is here, check out the Maserati Genesi

Italian artist Sergey Dvornytskyy has digitally designed a car which he calls the Maserati Genesi concept and it blends together cues from the Alfieri and GranTurismo. Maserati last sports car was the MC12 which was discontinued in 2005 and the company also teased us with the Alfieri concept when introduced in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The front of the Maserati Genesi has a number of signature Maserati features including the vertical spoked grille along with the sleek headlights that are stolen from the Alfieri concept. The rear of the Genesi has an aggressive diffuser and slim taillights that provide it a sporting theme. The concept acts as a sort of spiritual successor to the original 2000 Coupe.

If produced the Genesi will be quite similar to the Alfieri concept and would have somewhere around 298 to 372 kilowatts of power. In Sergey’s own words it’s a "high-performance, stylish two-seat coupe for people with a passion for driving,"

Inside of the car, the cabin has a touchscreen infotainment system and a race-inspired steering wheel with a digital instrument cluster. Diamond-quilted white leather seats and blue accents provide cabin a luxurious look. Overall, it’s a stunning design study that Maserati designers might want to consider when moving forward.
