Osun State Governor revealed why he became an Arsenal Fan

Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state has finally explained why he chose to become an Arsenal fan.  
He stated clearly that he became a Gunner because of the love he has for former Super Eagles striker Kanu Nwankwo Kanu.

He (Kanu) was a joy to watch during his active playing days for Premier League club Arsenal Governor of the State of Osun. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has explained that Nigerian football legend and former Super Eagles star Kanu Nwankwo is the reason why he became Arsenal fan.

 Aregbesola who is known for his superb love for Premier League club Arsenal recently met with former Arsenal forward Kanu Nwankwo where he told him one one one his love for the Gunners. ''I became an Arsenal fan because of you and I have remained a Gunner ever since, and even though you are no longer playing for the club, I will not stop supporting Arsenal'' Aregbesola was quoted to have said to Kanu.





Kanu Nwankwo joined Arsenal from Inter Milan in 1999, and he helped the club win the Premier League title in 2001/2002 and 2003/2004 as the Gunners went the whole League season unbeaten.
