ACE Ondo: Adeyemi Students Making History Nationwide.

A good turn deserves recognition, That is why Nigeria Meritorious Awards, Formally known as OSCAR Nigeria, see the Necessity in recognize and "acknowledge Nigerians".
A statement on their website, www.nigmawards.com reads:
"The Nigerian Meritorious Award is an award to acknowledge the accomplishments of Nigerians both at home and in diaspora. It is presented to Nigerians that show the greatest promise of contribution to human well-being, through the creation and application of their activities, intellect and knowledge. The award also deems to encourage and support these citizens in their efforts and to showcase their impact on their communities on the local, national and international levels".

But a speciality this year is the Nigeria Students Award, an award given to students based on their effectiveness in their chosen role either by nature or their choice of career or their skills.

Thus, it was clearly outlined that this year's edition is based on merits.
Full Gist gathered that a total of 52 student categories were laid out for students from all institution in Nigeria nominate the best from their school. The categories were divided into two: The individual awards and the group award.
Hence, our correspondent in Adeyemi College of Education gathered that out of the 52 Categories, arbicans were nominated in 33 of those categories As AFUED students shone brightly.


There was double nominations for students like Alese Habeeb, Olayinka Ojo, Oladayo Amusan, Sam Aiyesoro, and Funke Shoyombo, as their versatility was put to the fore.
