MARK ZUCKERBERG HUMILIATES ALIKO DANGOTE
Aliko Dangote
is the richest black descendant that ever lived. The Africa's richest man,
founded and chairs Dangote Cement, the continent's largest cement producer. In
2015 Dangote Cement launched new plants in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Zambia and
Tanzania. The company produces more than 30 million metric tons annually, and
plans to double capacity by 2018. Dangote owns about 90% of publicly-traded
Dangote Cement through a holding company; this percentage exceeds the 80%
ownership ceiling set by the Nigerian Stock Exchange. His new worth is
12.7billion dollars. But inspite all these achievements, he was humiliated.
How?
Mark Zuckerberg, the cofounder,
Chairman and CEO of Facebook with the net worth of 54.2billion dollars bought
Whatsapp from the Jan Koum and Brian Acton (founder of Whatsapp Company) at the
rate of 19billion dollars which is greater than the net worth of the richest
black man (Aliko Dangote).
Though Jan Koum and Brian Acton became
billionaire for this action of selling their 5-year old company at Jaw a
dropping amount (19billion dollars).
This
is not humiliation in the real sense but a way of telling Aliko Dangote to
buckle up…
