Lol! Check out the list of Items that are prohibited in Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti

Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, (ABUAD) recently banned the use of smartphones at the school premises. Here are the list of other prohibited items for the new academic session in the institution.

The information was released by the Registrar of the institution, Christie Oluborode, who informed the undergraduates that henceforth, they won’t be permitted to use mobile phones which have additional features.
The students are mandated to make calls and receive texts with phones with no internet usage.

The list of the other prohibited items include:

ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
Blenders
Electric Blankets, Mattresses or Beds
Electric Boiling Ring
Electric Kettle
Hair dryers
Microwaves/Rice Cooker/Hot Plates
Photocopying machines
Refrigerators
Toasters/Sandwich Maker/Grillers
Television sets/Video Machine/Computer Games.
Musical gadgets (Home Theatre, Public Address System, Amplifier, etc).

FOOD, DRINKS AND COOKING ITEMS:
Alcoholic drinks
Noodles
Raw food items
Cooking utensils

PROHIBITED DRUGS:
All Illicit Drugs
Cigarettes

WEAPONS OF ANY TYPE:
Knives
Forks
Dagger
Cutlass
Firearms of any kind.

OTHERS:
Binoculars
Fireworks
Siren
Lethal weapons and injections
Hubley Bubley
Kerosene Lamps
Candles, Matches & Gas Lighter
Face masks and all forms of camouflages are strictly prohibited in the University.
