Veronica Njoku the actress most known for her role as Ramota in the popular TV series New Masquerade has died. She passed on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
Mention the name Veronica Njoku anywhere and you will be likely to be met with blank stares. But mention Ramota from New Masquerade and you are sure to see people those eyes will light up in recognition.
The TV series was popular in the 90s and one of the stand out characters was that of Ramota wife of chief Jegede. The actress who played the role of Ramota, Veronica Njoku died on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
Confirming her death to Sky Trend News, another New Masquerade alumnus Tony Akposheri who played the role of Zacchaeus said, "Yes, it is true that Veronica Njoku is dead."
